In Antigua, this often means days by the beach, time on the water and evenings that feel relaxed and easy. In Bermuda, the experience might include beach time, golf, spa, coastal exploring and time spent enjoying the island’s distinctive heritage and dining.

Adding more of the island
Both destinations can be enjoyed beyond the hotel.

Antigua rewards boat trips, sailing, beach-hopping and visits to historic harbours. Bermuda offers coastal paths, coves, pastel towns and a sense of place that becomes more interesting the more you explore.

The key is not to overcomplicate the trip. The island should still feel restful.

Antigua is most popular during the winter and spring months, when conditions are generally well suited to a Caribbean beach holiday. The summer and autumn months can be quieter, but require more consideration around weather and seasonality.

Bermuda follows a different pattern. It is often particularly appealing from spring into autumn, with summer bringing warmer beach conditions. The winter months can still be pleasant, but the experience is less of a classic hot beach escape.

Because the two islands have different seasonal rhythms, timing plays an important role in deciding which is the stronger choice.

The best option depends on when you want to travel and what you want to do when you arrive.

Both Antigua and Bermuda work best when the pace feels relaxed and confident.

These are not destinations that need to be overfilled with plans. A well-chosen hotel, the right stretch of coastline and a few carefully chosen experiences will usually create a better trip than trying to do too much.
