When to travel
Africa’s seasons vary significantly depending on where you travel.
Southern Africa, including South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, is often best between May and October when conditions are drier and wildlife is easier to spot.
East Africa, including Kenya and Tanzania, offers excellent travel opportunities throughout the year, although the dry seasons between June and October and January to March are often preferred.
If your journey combines multiple regions, timing becomes an important consideration and should be planned carefully.
