Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island sits on a Blue Flag beach on Saadiyat Island, with the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the city centre a short drive away. It runs on the All Inclusive, All Exclusive model, which here is genuinely comprehensive: dining, drinks, activities and entertainment are all part of the rate, so there is little to add to the bill once you arrive. The architecture is palatial and Mediterranean in style, set among court gardens and water features, with rooms, suites and private villas overlooking the gardens, pools and Gulf. It is built for families, with the Rixy Kids Club, water sports, tennis and a daily entertainment programme, and it also has one of Saadiyat’s largest spas, including a snow room, sauna and hammam. The pace is lively rather than quiet, but it is well run and represents strong value for anyone who wants most things included in a single price.
There are seven restaurants, one of them reserved for villa guests, covering most tastes from morning to late evening. L’Olivo serves Italian pizza and pasta, Aja offers Asian dishes with a live Teppanyaki counter, and Mermaid does Mediterranean seafood and Greek plates by the beach.
Turquoise is the all-day buffet of world cuisines, Orient focuses on grills and global flavours, and People’s is the casual beachfront option for snacks and drinks. Six bars complete the all-inclusive line-up across the resort.

This one suits you if you want everything taken care of. With dining, drinks, activities and entertainment all included, there is very little to plan: spend the days on the Blue Flag beach, let the children settle into the Rixy Kids Club, and work the spa’s hammam and snow room into an afternoon. It is lively and high-energy rather than peaceful, but you leave having had real value with almost nothing to organise.
