An Introduction
Baros has been quietly welcoming guests for over five decades, with its long-standing heritage evident from the moment you arrive by a 25-minute speedboat transfer from Malé. The small, circular island is framed by white sand and a vibrant house reef that can be reached directly from many villas. With no town or village nearby, the experience is shaped entirely by the lagoon, the spa, diving, and exceptional dining.
The resort offers eight villa categories, ranging from beachfront to overwater, including secluded Water Pool Villas and characterful Baros Villas on the sand. Serenity Spa is tucked away among the trees, featuring private treatment suites, a yoga pavilion, and complimentary morning yoga sessions led by a resident yogi on the Lighthouse Deck. Diving and snorkelling are managed by Divers Baros, with complimentary snorkelling equipment provided for guests.

More intimate experiences include Piano Deck Dining on a wooden platform over the lagoon and Sandbank Dining on a private stretch of white sand. The Nooma Sunset Dinner Cruise offers a private gourmet voyage aboard a traditional dhoni with butler service, while In-Villa Dining brings the full menu directly to your terrace or bed.
