The Philippines is best visited during the drier months, typically from around late November to May, when beach time, sailing and diving conditions are usually at their most reliable.

Conditions are not identical across the whole country, however. The archipelago is large, and weather patterns can differ between regions, so the ideal timing depends on which islands are included in your journey.

Diving seasons also vary by location, which matters if underwater experiences are central to the trip.

The best time to travel is therefore about matching the right islands to the right months, rather than treating the Philippines as a single destination.
