Finniss River Lodge sits on the 50,000-acre working Finniss River Station about 90 km from Darwin in the Dundee region of the NT Top End, on the edge of wetlands and floodplains across several ecosystems. It has six luxury suites for a maximum of 12 guests, with floor-to-ceiling glass, private verandas and king-split beds, two pairs interconnecting into family suites, with exclusive use available.
Dining is at one in-house restaurant and bar, all-inclusive, from head chef Charlotte Torrie, with local prawns, mud crab, barramundi and beef and native produce and included wines, beers and cocktails. There is an infinity-edge pool facing the floodplains, in a newly built contemporary lodge. Experiences run twice daily, from buggy tours and Walk About safaris to a station sundowner and, on longer stays, an airboat adventure, with birdwatching and add-ons such as fishing and scenic helicopter flights. Family-owned and independent, it suits couples, families and exclusive-use groups who want an all-inclusive, remote Top End station and wilderness experience.
