An All-Inclusive Adventure Lodge on the Troll Peninsula

On Iceland’s remote Troll Peninsula, Eleven Deplar Farm is an all-inclusive adventure lodge in a converted 15th-century sheep farm, with 13 rooms, chef-prepared dining, a Viking-inspired spa and guided heli-skiing, fishing and northern-lights experiences.

Guided wilderness from a turf-roofed farm

Eleven Deplar Farm sits on the remote Troll Peninsula in northern Iceland, in the Fljot Valley, a converted 15th-century sheep farm turned all-inclusive adventure lodge with turf roofs and floor-to-ceiling mountain views, reached via Akureyri. It has 13 guest rooms, several with sleeping lofts, holding a maximum of 34 guests, in a design-forward Icelandic style. Dining is all-inclusive and chef-prepared, from breakfast to apres and dinner, built on local produce such as Arctic char from the lake and pasture-raised lamb, with a Viking dinner for longer buy-outs and a swim-up pool bar.

A 5,000-square-foot glass-walled spa has indoor and outdoor saunas, a steam room, treatment rooms, flotation tanks, a sound-bathing studio and Arctic cold plunges, alongside a geothermal indoor-outdoor pool, a gym and a yoga studio. Guided experiences run from summit-to-sea heli-skiing in season to hiking, fishing, whale watching, sea kayaking and swimming under the northern lights. Part of Eleven, it suits active, adventure-minded travellers and private groups who want an all-inclusive, guide-led wilderness escape.
