An Introduction
The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is one resort, with endless experiences. The architecture is built as a re-imagined Moorish citadel, with terracotta tones, ornate arches and tile detail running through the property. The accommodation is split between the main citadel and the quieter Tagor Villas, the latter operating with separate concierge and bar.
There is a wide choice of venue for dining experiences for all tastes, from Michelin starred to casual light bites, with classic wines and cocktails in the bars.
The championship Abama Golf course winds through the property’s 160 acres, with the Ritz-Carlton Spa, beach, just a funicular ride away, and a tennis academy alongside. The Ritz-Carlton Spa runs across multiple treatment rooms, a hammam, indoor pool and wellness circuit.
The wider Costa Adeje setting gives easy reach to Mount Teide National Park (Spain’s highest mountain at 3,718m), the famous whale-watching waters off Los Cristianos, and La Caleta village’s seafood restaurants.

Abama offers a wide range of cuisine including the Spanish Michelin-starred M.B., as well as Japanese, Italian, seafood and Vegetarian, and each restaurant reflects freshness and authenticity, whilst refined wines and signature cocktails are served in the bars.
Facilities and experiences
The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama guests enjoy access to Abama Beach, where a dedicated area with sunbeds and umbrellas is available, and the beach can be reached in comfort aboard their private train.
The hotel features a collection of pools scattered across the resort and the Spa & Fitness Centre is elevated at the 2,500 m², while families enjoy Ritz Kids, soon to be enhanced by a new Splash Park, whilst golf and tennis are close by, for the more energetic.
The Abama is happy to arrange further exploration of Tenerife, with whale watching, zip lining and walking tours, amongst the offerings.
