Jumeirah Al Qasr is the palace-style centrepiece of Madinat Jumeirah, reached along palm-lined waterways travelled by traditional abras. It has 180 rooms and suites, most looking over the Gulf, the gardens or the sail of Burj Al Arab. The main advantage is what comes with a stay: a long private beach, the Talise Spa, and direct access to the shops, cafes and restaurants of Souk Madinat Jumeirah, all linked by the waterways. Families have Wild Wadi Waterpark and a KiDS Club close at hand, while couples can find quieter corners of the gardens and shoreline. The style is grand and traditional, but the practical appeal is variety: a single base that opens up a small resort district, with plenty to do without leaving. It is one of Dubai’s most established beachfront addresses and works equally well for couples and families.
